Many children are at risk of becoming overweight or obese due to their sedentary ifestyle. Nowadays it’s very common for kids to entertain themselves by watching TV or playing video games. While both of these activities are a lot of fun for kids, they don’t provide any exercise.

How can we get kids to be more active?

*Limit sedentary activities (video games, TV, etc.) to 30 minutes a day.
*Find a sport that the whole family likes to do (cycling, jogging, skiing) and do it together.
*Plan ahead for this activity and put it down in your calendar.
*Be a role model. Should your kids the importance of exercising.
