How can I prevent SIDS?
SIDS is the leading cause of death in babies between 1 month and 12 months of age.
Some of the things you can do to prevent SIDS are:
Put your baby to sleep on his/her back, be up to date on your baby’s immunizations, breastfeed as long and as much as possible, don’t overdress your baby, consider using a pacifier at naptime and bedtime, place your baby on a firm mattress in his/her crib and keep the crib free of blankets, stuffed animals, bumper pads and pillows.
